A downloadable game for Windows

Your Canvas

Your Canvas is a Text-Based Adventure game set during three therapy sessions with different time periods where the player will be presented with various choices for deciding the outcome of the story. Every choice the player has made throughout the game will culminate in 1 of 4 different endings.

The main method that Your Canvas uses to judge you is by letting you play its various mini-games, during which it will remember your decisions and change according to them.

Your Canvas has various features and mechanics such as:

  • Letting you customize your own environment.
  • Random loot and items, making every playthrough unique.
  • A journey through psychological psyche.
  • RPG elements like stats, magic, weapons and buffs.
  • Tactical turn-based combat.
  • Story-Rich worlds buried within the mini-games.
  • Lots of replayability due to the roguelite nature of the game.
  • Different and interesting ways to approach every encounter.
  • An overarching plotline.
  • An original soundtrack made by my good friend JDivko.

Hey Abihumsi,

Thanks for letting me stream your game and for being apart of it! Check it out:

I know we didn't get to showcase much, but I was very intrigued by what I did get to play! Hopefully it will spark curiosity in others to see what the whole game is about. I really love the simple art style and loved the enemy designs I got to see. As mentioned in the stream perhaps some extra images in the intro could help draw the player in a bit more as it may make the wrong impression that that is what the whole game will be like. I enjoyed the combat (as I do love RPGMaker) and being a wizard was cool. Well done on making your game and thanks for letting me play it!

Cool idea.  Enjoyed the graphics, and the writing is pretty good too.  I died kind've quick in my first playthrough, because I kept going after the dang spectre :)
